1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your permit and logistical arrangements.
• Final Balance: Full payment must be settled no later than 30 days prior to your trek departure. Failure to complete payment may result in the cancellation of your spot without a refund of the deposit.

2. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

We understand that plans change. Our refund schedule is based on the costs we incur with permit offices:

• 30+ Days Before Departure: Partial refund of the total trek cost (excluding non-refundable deposit).
• 15-29 Days Before Departure: 50% refund of the total trek cost (excluding non-refundable deposit).
• Less than 15 Days Before Departure: No refund.
• Force Majeure: Legend Adventures is not liable for cancellations caused by flight disruptions, political instability, strikes, or natural disasters. In such cases, we will issue a credit note for a future trek whenever possible.

3. HIGH-ALTITUDE RISK ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Trekking the Himalayas involves risks. By booking with Legend Adventures, you acknowledge and accept the following:

• Physical Nature: Treks reach high altitudes where Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is a risk.
• Environmental Factors: Rapid weather changes, challenging trail conditions, and remote locations with limited medical access.
• Insurance: Valid travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking (up to 6,000m) and emergency helicopter evacuation is mandatory for all participants.

4. ITINERARY FLEXIBILITY

The mountains are unpredictable. Legend Adventures reserves the right to modify routes or schedules in the interest of group safety. Your lead guide has the final authority on all safety-related decisions on the trail.
